Exciting new Sponsorship deal with SBS Bank

The Hamilton Hydrotherapy Pool Charitable Trust, is raising funds to build a new Hydrotherapy Pool at Waterworld, in Hamilton has formed a sponsorship relationship with SBS "the newest bank in town."

Hamilton branch manager Nicki Bennett said when they heard about the Hamilton Hydrotherapy Pool initiative, they immediately thought about what they could do to help.

"We've come up with the SBS Hamilton Hydrotherapy Pool Investment Special. As a supporter of the Hamilton Hydrotherapy Pool, we're putting out an invitation for our locals to get on board through this investment special. For every dollar invested with us, SBS will make a payment to the Hamilton Hydrotherapy Pool Charitable Trust," Ms Bennett said.

On Tuesday 7 October, SBS became the first building society in the world to become a registered bank. As a result, it is the only bank in New Zealand to be wholly owned by its customers with no foreign owner drawing profits away from New Zealand.

"There has been growing interest in this investment special and, coupled with our new bank registration and advertising and support for the Hydrotherapy Trust, I am confident more interest will follow.

Let's hope that our Hamilton community takes the opportunity to really get behind our investment special and create a win-win situation for everyone involved. It's good for the Trust, good for the investor and good for SBS Bank!"

The Board of The Hamilton Hydrotherapy Pool Charitable Trust is delighted to join together with SBS and applauds their initiative.

We are certain many people in Hamilton and the surrounding area will see this as an attractive opportunity to invest their funds in a new bank that is offering a competitive rate of interest and thereby helping raise money to build a Hydrotherapy Pool that is a much needed facility in our community.
