Monthly Update November 2009

Hamilton City Council has advertised for expressions of interest in tendering for the project. Within 24 hours they had 20 responses. Everything appears to be on target.

During the last month the Trust received $20,000 from the Arthritis Contact Group. This was the result of their many hours of jam making, garage sales and the “sale” of tiles to their members. This is truly a magnificent effort.

The Trust wishes to also acknowledge the significant donation given towards the building of the Hydrotherapy Pool by Margaret Green.

We were the beneficiaries of the Waikato Master Builders Association Annual golf day. A cheque for $580.00 was handed over at the Trust’s meeting by the WMBA Chairman Colin Bertram.

The Hydro Trust has also received a promise of $65,000 from the Perry Foundation.

Planning for the official turning of the first sod in February is also underway. More on this as we get closer to the time.

Please note the attached invitation to our next event at Clausen’s farm on Sunday 29th November.

Thank you to everyone for their continued support.

Best wishes,
David Peart (Chairman HHPTC)
